You’ve heard the claims; saunas are almost a magic pill when it comes to health optimisation. But those benefits can only be maximised when your sauna is built properly; clean materials, true airflow, and consistent full-body heat. Most saunas miss the mark. Psycle doesn’t.
Rapid Recovery
Less inflammation, faster muscle repair, and a body that bounces back harder after every session.
Glowing Skin
Flush out impurities, open up pores, and support skin health with clean air and deep sweat.
Deep Restorative Sleep
Fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, maximise REM sleep and wake up clear, not groggy.
Mental Reboot
Leave the session with a calm nervous system and a focused, high-performing mind.
Strong Circulation
Stimulate blood flow, improve cardiovascular function, and enhance nutrient delivery throughout the body.
Unplug & Reconnect
Reconnect with your people - no phones, no notification; just presence, heat and real moments.
The Lamborghini of Home Saunas
FAQ
Your site needs a stable, hard, level surface that can support the full weight of the sauna and occupants. Suitable surfaces: concrete slabs, solid timber decks, level pavers, or tiles. Uneven or soft surfaces are not suitable. Confirm your site is ready before delivery.
Check with your local council for any regulations relating to installing a sauna on your property.
The Genesis Mini is designed for self-assembly with two people. We provide a full assembly guide. If you'd prefer professional installation, get in touch and we'll help you find a local installer.
Assembly: around one full day with two people. Electrical: a separate visit by your electrician, typically 1–2 days depending on your home's electrical setup. The Genesis Mini runs on a dedicated 32A circuit.
Yes. You'll need to engage a licensed Australian electrician to connect the Genesis Mini to a dedicated 32A power circuit, on single-phase or three-phase power. We can help you find one if needed. Send us images of your installation area, and we'll connect you with an electrician familiar with the Genesis Mini. The electrical box can be back-mounted or right-mounted depending on your install.
Yes. The Genesis Mini is designed for indoor or outdoor use. A roof kit isn't required if your sauna is placed undercover. For exposed outdoor placement, we offer an optional roof kit built from custom Australian colorbond metal shingles with a waterproof underlay. For best longevity, install in a semi-sheltered area to reduce constant exposure to harsh sun or heavy rain.
Once your sauna is built and ready to ship, we'll confirm an installation date. From that point, delivery takes 7–10 business days for metro areas and 10–14 business days for regional areas. We'll keep you updated and send tracking details once it's on the way.
Free kerbside delivery for Metro Sydney, Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Melbourne. Shipping for all other areas is confirmed at final payment.
A barrel sauna and the Psycle saunas aren't really the same product. Most cheaper saunas are built from finger-jointed, low-grade timber, with epoxy bog filling the knots and glue holding panels together. That sits inside a hot, humid room for years. The Psycle saunas are built from Premium Japanese Cedar Timber with no MDF, no glued joins, and no epoxy-filled knots. They run the Psycle Clean Air Active Ventilation System, the Psycle Blue-Light-Free Lighting System, 8mm safety laminated tempered glass, and either a HUUM DROP or Harvia Vega heater. Built to Finnish sauna standards. The price reflects the materials and the experience, not the marketing.
Both styles share the same Premium Japanese Cedar interior. The difference is the exterior cladding. Natural Style leaves the cedar raw, sealed in non-VOC oil, so the timber silvers gently over time. Charcoal Style is Shou Sugi Ban inspired for a deep, textured finish that pairs beautifully with dark exterior architecture. Pick the look you want to walk out to every morning.
Everything you need for the ultimate sauna experience.
• Your selected heater: HUUM DROP 6kW or Harvia Vega 6kW
• Sauna stones: Premium Olivine diabase for optimal heat retention and steam
• Control panel: HUUM UKU Glass Control Panel with WiFi and mobile app (HUUM DROP) or built-in mechanical controls (Harvia Vega)
• Psycle Clean Air Active Ventilation System: dual-speed mechanical ventilation for air purification and heat distribution
• Psycle Blue-Light-Free Lighting System
• Accessories kit: towel hooks, sand timer, thermometer, hygrometer, bucket and ladle
• 2 premium Australian wool sauna hats
The Psycle saunas are traditional Finnish saunas, not infrared units. Built to Finnish sauna standards, they use a powerful electric heater with Olivine diabase stones to create real heat that warms the air around you, just as saunas have been used for centuries. Pour water over the stones for steam and humidity, and you'll experience a true löyly.
Infrared saunas heat your body directly with light panels. They don't create the same immersive environment or authentic steam ritual. A traditional sauna delivers higher heat, deeper sweat, and the classic hot-cold contrast therapy when paired with the Origin Cold Plunge.
Both heaters are 6kW and both will get the Genesis Mini to 90°C+ comfortably. The Harvia Vega is the value option: simple dial control inside the sauna, reliable, no extra cabling. The HUUM DROP holds a larger volume of Olivine diabase stones, so you get noticeably more steam (löyly) when you pour water, and it pairs with the HUUM UKU Glass Control Panel for WiFi scheduling and exact temperature control from your phone. If you want the cleanest steam experience and remote pre-heat, choose HUUM DROP. If you want a great traditional sauna at a sharper price, choose Harvia Vega.
The Genesis Mini's external dimensions are 1571 mm (W) × 1950 mm (D) × 2267 mm (H). Allow 300 mm clearance on each side, including the roof, for access and installation. For exact product and footprint dimensions, see the images above.
Running the Genesis Mini is more affordable than most people expect. Based on average NSW electricity rates ($0.30/kWh) and using your sauna 3–4 times per week for around 90 minutes (including heat-up):
Around $2.70 per session. Roughly $8–$11 per week, or about $1.20–$1.50 per day averaged across the week.
Heaters don't run at full power the whole time. Once the cabin reaches temperature, they cycle on and off, so actual costs may be lower. Your rate may also vary by state and provider.
